Description
Offering office space, supervision, training and client opportunities for fee split. Looking for qualified MFT Interns or PsyD students interested in both eating disorder treatment and group psychotherapy. Working with children/adolescents and their families, as well as adults and couples. Begin to build your private practice and develop your specialty.
Education/Experience Requirements
Registered Intern number and professional liability insurance. Prior experience in co-leading groups a plus. Interest in working with complex diagnoses and treatment applications. Desire to work in a treatment team, coordinating care with other therapists, doctors, psychiatrists, and nutritionists. Motivation to network and build marketing plan for private practice.
Position Requirements
Minimum one year contract commitment. Available to co-lead 1-2 weekly evening therapy or support groups. Videotaping of client sessions and live supervision within both individual and group supervision settings. Commitment to attending local professional organizations and training opportunities. Weekly work schedule: 10 hours per week minimum.

Kimberly Harley is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern at New Beginnings Counseling Center. Kimberly has her Masters of Education and Psychology from Pepperdine University and is registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. During her graduate studies, Kimberly provided counseling services to students through the Pepperdine Student Counseling Center. Kimberly then spent three years with Interface Children and Family Services providing low cost therapy to children and families of Ventura County. Her experience includes working with youth on probation, victims of crime, providing parenting education and therapy and working with families dealing with grief and trauma.
At New Beginnings Counseling Center, Kimberly works under the supervision of Susan Richter, MFT providing therapeutic services for clients struggling with eating disorders, depression, anxiety and more. She provides individual, family and group therapy services. Kimberly also co-facilitates a free Eating Disorders Support Group and an Eating Disorders Skills Group with supervisor Susan Richter. Her passion is to provide excellence in therapeutic services starting with the therapeutic relationship.
